Special Order. Due to DJI regulations we are not permitted to post pricing for the Zenmuse XT on our site. Please contact email@example.com for further information.
The Zenmuse XT series combines the aerial technology of DJI with the thermal imaging technology of FLIR to create the perfect aerial thermal solution for users across all industries. Aerial thermal imagery has never been so easy to view thanks to DJI’s revolutionary Zenmuse XT thermal camera series.
1. What do all the different lens options mean?
The focal length of the lens determines the field of view you will have on your screen. The lower the focal length the wider the field of view. A wider lens will give you a bigger area in your frame at the expense of having to fly closer in to an object if closer inspection is needed. A tighter focal length will give you more reach (great for inspections etc) at the expense of not being able to scan an area as quickly as you could with a wider field of view. See chart below for field of view angles.
2. What are the most common focal lengths people buy?
The two most popular focal lengths are the 9mm and the 13mm, with the 19mm not far behind.
3. Where can I find the manual for the XT camera?
For the most up-to-date version please click here.
4. What is the difference between the "Performance" and the "Advanced Radiometric" versions of the XT camera?
The Performance version of the XT camera is excellent for viewing relative temperature differences (eg. Showing what is hot in a scene and what is cool, great for search and rescue). If you are a Thermographer doing precise inspections or require absolute temperature values you should consider the Advanced Radiometric version of the XT camera. For mapping applications you will also want the Advanced Radiometric version, as the stitching software will require precise metadata to generate an accurate map.
Field of View
640 x 512
336 x 256
The Zenmuse XT seamlessly integrates FLIR’s market-leading thermal camera, which can generate images up to a resolution of 640x512, with DJI’s signature gimbal stabilization and Lightbridge video-transmission technology.
Using the same gimbal mount as DJI’s Zenmuse X3, X5 and X5R cameras for filmmaking, the Zenmuse XT is fully compatible with the DJI Inspire 1 and Matrice 100 aerial platforms.
So whether you need to gain strategic insight into how your crops are growing, or more efficiently understand the spread of fires, the Zenmuse XT empowers your aerial applications with whole new dimensions of sight.

The camera on the DJI Zenmuse XT is developed by FLIR. It provides high-sensitivity (50mK) infrared scanning at 640/30 fps or 336/60 fps depending on the camera model. This sensitivity provides accurate temperature measurements ideal for analytics and telemetry. Both cameras are available with four lens options to meet different business needs. Stabilized and controlled by a custom DJI gimbal, it provides smooth, clear imagery and 360 degrees of seamless rotational movement.
